One of the blog posts we're developing educates seniors on the many benefits of yoga - particularly for aging comfortably.
The idea is to drop a short, sweet, but engaging story in their inbox - as a nice segue into the longer blog piece.
My dad is like a good bottle of red wine – he’s a got a nice kick to him, and he aged quite well.
So well, in fact, he hit 60 without missing a beat.
Then, the arthritis kicked in.
As time wore on, he became less motivated to get up for those early morning runs. These days? I struggle just getting him up off the couch to stretch.
And I get it – no one wants to exercise (or do much of anything at all) when it literally hurts to move.
But if you’re dealing with stiff muscles and achy joints, staying at least somewhat active is critical to attaining long-term relief…
…and there’s a low-impact, low-stress, restorative way to not only get started, but keep going without overdoing it.
Yes, I’m talking about yoga – something I’m admittedly partial to.
But yoga’s benefits go far beyond increased mobility - research shows that practicing regularly allows your mind and body to age with grace and vitality.
So if you’re ready to truly live your best life, learn more about yoga’s benefits here.
All the Best,
